Frozen Yoghurt is a nice way to cool off during summer. These yoghurts are available in every flavour and you can decorate them with anything.
If you have never tried one, or want to try something different, you can do it according to the recipe (below) enjoy :)
What you need: (for 800g)
-1kg of unflavoured Yoghurt
-4 egg whites
a pinch of salt
one tea spoon of grated vanilla bean
How to do it:
Place the yoghurt, on a with kitchen paper covered, strainer and let it drain for at least six hours.
After that, the yoghurt should have the consistency of cream cheese or curd.
With a mixer, mix the egg whites with the pinch of salt. (The egg white should be foamy)
Slowly add the sugar. When everything is mixed, pour the mass into the yoghurt (which should in the meantime have the tea spoon of grated vanilla bean) and put the batter/mass into small cups that then will go off into the freezer.
If you do this without an ice cream machine then you have to mix the mass every 15 minutes. You do this so long, till the mass is evenly frozen.
There is your frozen yoghurt!! :)
Later on, you can decorate it with strawberries, Oreos, Nutella, biscuits, etc.
Ps: This song will entertain you while you make the frozen yoghurt... Miss Murray-Timid Tiger
